Albert J. Haveman, 87, was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach,FL. Formerly of Grand Rapids, MI, Al has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL, since 1986.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Nelly (Worst) Haveman and Jane (Knight) Haveman, his daughter, Doris (Joe) Villanueva and son-in-law Ray Aspden.
Al is survived and greatly missed by his son, Jack (Bonnie) Haveman, his daughters-in-law Abbie Knight and Candee Aspden, very special friend, Nancy West, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Al was greatly involved in the life of his church, First Baptist of Vero Beach, serving as deacon chairman, leader of his adult class and choir member. He was also past president of the Treasure Coast Chorale.

Services: A celebration will be held on Tuesday, January 17, at First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, with pastor Derrek West officiating.
