Albina "Bonnie" M. Yeager Sewell, beloved Mother and friend, 82, of Stuart, FL, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Lucie Medical Center.
Mrs. Sewell was born June 19, 1928 in Morea, PA and was a resident of Stuart for 25 years coming from Setauket, Long Island, NY. Bonnie was a member of St. Martin de Poress Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL. Prior to her retirement she was a registered nurse and finished her career working for many years as a school nurse in an elementary school in Long Island. She served in the US Navy. Bonnie, as she liked to be called, was active in several clubs, enjoyed traveling, playing Mah Jong, and gardening, but described her most satisfying role, after being a wife, as a loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles A. Sewell
Survivors include her daughter Cynthia Goodwin & her husband Josh Goodwin, grandchildren Griifin Bell and Kendyl Bell of West Melbourne, FL; son, Richard D.Sewell & his wife Doreen Ingino Sewell of Port St Lucie, FL, grandchildren Devin Sewell and Leah Lewis and her husband Ben Lewis, and grandson Jason Birch, and great-grand children. Corinne, Cameron, & Celia Birch of San Clemente CA.
Her unfailing humor, her kind nature, frankness, and zest for life will be missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on at 11:00AM, Monday, April 11, 2011 at St. Martin de Poress Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL.
Burial will be in Arlington, VA.
