Alexander Ciaramitaro Symonds, 62 of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2020.

Born March 8, 1958, in San Diego, California, he was a son of the late John P. Symonds & Augustine Ciaramitaro.

Alex was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Helen's Catholic Church.

A proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, he was a helicopter mechanic/crew chief and had also served as a recruiter. Alex was honorably discharged in 1987 as Staff Sergeant.

Some of Alex's hobbies and interests included his beloved Corvette, collecting WWII & Marine Corps memorabilia, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

He was employed at Wal-Mart in the tire & lube department where he later retired after several years of service.

In addition to his parents, Alex was preceded in death by brothers, John P, Symonds, Jr. and  Dana Francis Symonds.

He is survived by his sister, Mary E. Christiansen, and her husband, Norman A. Christiansen, and many other loving family members and friends.

Memorial services will be scheduled at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Chapel once the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
