Alexander David Norris, 77 of Barefoot Bay, FL died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Norris was born April 24, 1931 in Oceanside, NY and was a resident of Barefoot Bay for 9 & half years coming from W. Brookville, NY.
He was an electrician and a member of the IBEW Union Local 363, and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joan M. Norris of Barefoot Bay, FL; son William David(Gail) Norris of Hilliard, FL; daughters Kathleen( Paul) Perry of W. Brookville, NY and Wendy(Skip) Ferrara of Sparrowbush, NY; brother John Norris of Sayville, NY; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Christian Community Church: PO Box 780216, Sebastian, FL 32958-0216.
Celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, FL with Dr. Ronald Thomas officiating and military honors by Sebastian River Area Veterans Honor Guard.
