Alex Petrussenko, of Vero Beach, died unexpectedly on August 31, 2018.
He was born to Igor and Zoya Petrusenko on May 18, 1986 in Tartu, Estonia. Alex moved with his family to South Florida in 1996 and lived there until 2011, graduating from Plantation High School in 2005. He then moved to Vero Beach, earning an Associate in Arts from Indian River State College in 2012. Alex was super excited to attend Florida State University in Tallahassee, graduating with a Bachelors of Political Science in 2015.
He was a good, kind person, always willing to help out without expecting anything back. He loved animals and taking care of them. Alex enjoyed travelling, having explored Germany, Holland, Finland and Estonia and was looking forward to visiting South America and Asia.
Alex is survived by his parents Zoya and Igor Petrusenko, of Vero Beach; and brother Denis Petrussenko, of Vero Beach.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7 from 1:30-3:30pm at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
