Alfred Clark Daugherty, 88, died July 9, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived in Vero Beach since 1975.
He was a retired Chairman of Duracell International and a board member of PNC Advisors, Vero Beach.
He graduated from Penn State University.
He was a WWII Army veteran, serving in the Aleutian Islands.
He was predeceased on February 21, 2012 by his wife of 65 years, Janet Elliott Daugherty.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Adams Johnson (Al), of Vero Beach; grandchildren Wesley Adams and Courtney Adams Maslak (Andrew); sister Ann Sickeler and Niece Claudia Patton (Rex).
