Alice Murphy Clark age 96 of Vero Beach passed away on December 3, 2012 at Tiffany Hall in Port St. Luice, FL. Alice was born in West Brookfield, Massachusetts to David and Florence Murphy. She was ahead of her time in life with a career in hair care. Alice was well-known as a specialist in the proper care of hair, scalp, and skin. She spent more than 20 years with John H. Breck, Inc. as a Hair and Scalp Specialist in Research and Development. While busy with her career Alice and her husband owned a farm for 5 to 7 years in Granby, MA. They then moved to Springfield and were the owner operators of "Bucky's Corner Restaurant" for more than 38 years.
Alice had many interests in her life. They included art, where she enjoy painting in oils, poetry writing many poems, was an organist and sang with many choirs, she enjoyed her membership in the Model A and Model T car clubs. Alice has lived in the Vero Beach area for over 25 years. Alice leaves to cherish her memory her son William "Bucky" Clark Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters and 3 great-grandsons. Alice is predeceased by the love of her life her husband of more than 70 years William Buckley Clark Sr. who died in 1995.
