Alice M. Cover, age 73, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Ft. Pierce. Being born in Alliance, Ohio, she lived there until relocating to Okeechobee in 1974, after a short stay in South Florida.
She was a member of Middle Sandy United Presbyterian Church in Homeworth, Ohio, and also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star where she had held every office including Worthy Matron. She remained active in the Eastern Star after moving to Okeechobee.
Survivors include her husband, L. Lynn Cover; son, Mark A. Cover of Ft. Lauderdale; daughter, Kathy (David) Harris of Okeechobee; three grandchildren, Kaitlin, Judson, and Carson; and a brother, Michael (Vicki) Johnson of Texas.
There are no services planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donatons be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
