Alice Riser Gabrielson's Obituary
Alice Riser Gabrielson, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House with her loving husband, Lee, at her side.
Mrs. Gabrielson was born February 1, 1925 in Charlotte, NC and she and Lee moved to Vista Royale, Vero Beach 20 years ago from her place of birth.
Prior to relocating to Florida, she had successful modeling careers in New York City and Chicago, and was a sales executive for a major hotel in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Lee Gabrielson of Vero Beach; daughter, Jamie Morris, Coral Gables, a son, David Gabrielson, Scottsdale, Arizona, a sister, Billie Price, of Charlotte, North Carolina, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Alice attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
Private services will be held with the Reverend Jack Diehl presiding.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the VNA/Hospice House 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
