On Saturday, October 27, 2018, Alice McPherson (baptized Ursula) passed away at the age of 98 in Vero Beach, Florida, where she had been a resident since 2011. Prior to her move to Florida, Alice resided with her sister Adele in Spencer, New York. Alice retired from the Cornell Law Library in 1995.

Alice was a lifelong, passionate gardener and she graced her homes with beautiful flowers and landscaping. She enjoyed traveling and always brought home to her gardens something to plant and remind her of the places she visited.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her 4 children, Barbara, James, John and Jonathan, grandchildren, Michelle, Tovah an Ian and four great grandchildren.

A Mass will be held in her memory at Our Lady of Florida, North Palm Beach and interment will be take place at The Halsey Valley Cemetery in Tioga County, New York.
