Alice L. Wantland's Obituary
Alice L. Wantland, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Wantland was born August 30, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Vero Beach in 1994 from Jackson, MS.
She had been a relator for various real estate companies in Stuart and Mississippi prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Newcomers Club in Vero Beach and several bridge groups in the Vero Beach area.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years Paul F. Wantland of Vero Beach; son Gary Martin of Valrico, FL; son Norman Dean Wantland of Columbia, SC; daughter Donna Pooler of Palm City, FL; sister Irene Johnson of Homedale, NJ; and nine grandchildren.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 4 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
