Allen Ace Campbell, 79, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Campbell was born April 8, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Vero Beach in 1961 from Miami, FL
Prior to his retirement he and his brother Joe Campbell owned Campbell Brothers Aluminum Products in Vero Beach. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Navy. Mr. Campbell had attended the Vero Beach Christian Alliance Church, was a member of the Elks Lodge in Vero Beach and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Glenna V. Campbell, sons Allen Campbell and Vick Campbell, daughters Nita Jo Jobe and Sara Ann Vasquez all of Vero Beach; sisters Linda Cohen of Lutz, FL, Mary Elliott, Pat Lenz and Nancy Diamond of the Tampa, FL area; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 2 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Vero Beach Christian Alliance Church with Pastor Tom Haar officiating.
