Alma DeLagarde Brideau, 101, of Vero Beach, FL died peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Bryant was born August 27, 1907 in New Brunswick, Canada. She moved to the United States in the 1920's and became a U.S. Citizen in 1939. A former resident of both Tarrytown, NY and Ossining, NY, she moved to Vero Beach in 2002.
She worked at the White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY for 42 years, retiring in 1971.
She is the widow of Raymond Brideau, Sr. and was predeceased by her stepson, Robert Brideau.
Survivors include her stepsons Raymond (Fran) Brideau, Jr., of Vero Beach, Richard (Joan) Brideau of Haverhill, MA and Leonard Brideau of Morgantown, PA; twelve grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Service: A Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresas Catholic Church in Tarrytown, NY at a later date. Interment will be in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY.
