Alma Jean Proth, 87, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 26, 2014. Mrs. Proth was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 18, 1926, daughter of the late Clyde D. and Lillie Bell (Goodbar) Hicks. She lived in Sebastian, FL for 44 years. She was predeceased by her Husband Albert and bother Patrick Hicks.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Fetkenher of Vero Beach, FL; sons, Albert Proth of Sebastian, FL; and David Proth of Orlando, FL; 3 grandsons; and 3 great grandsons and 1 great great granddaughter. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Sampson of Cambridge, MD and a brother, James Hicks of Wilmington, DE. Mrs. Proth loved spending time with her family and her loving ways will be missed. She will also greatly be missed by her 4 legged companion, Katie Cakes.
