Almorinda Medeiros' Obituary
Almorinda Medeiros, 94, formally of Portsmouth, RI passed away March 23, 2016 in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born June 25, 1921 in New Bedford, MA to the late Frank and Virginia Botelho.
Ms. Medeiros worked as a sales clerk for JC Penny in Newport, RI for 20 years. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Barnabas Church in Portsmouth where she was a member of their Woman's Guild.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Ann) Medeiros of Portsmouth; daughter, Mary Lou Hook of Vero Beach; three sisters; three brothers; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Anthony E. Medeiros and four brothers.
A Memorial Mass will be held 4:30pm, June 4th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Portsmouth, RI.
