Alphonse Wisniewski,88, Major US Air Force Retired, of Vero Beach died March 16, 2008 at Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach.
He was born May 4, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Vero Beach in 1988 from Toledo.
He served 22 years in the US Air Force upon retiring he taught school in Toledo, OH.
He was a member of the Indian River County Retired Officer Association, Life member of the Military Officers Association of America, the Vero Beach and Sebastian Sail & Power Squadron.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila E. Wisniewski; daughters, Jan Mason of Vero Beach, Gayle Green of Houston, TX; son, David Wisniewski of Houston, TX; step-daughter, Judi Marzoline of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; step-son Paul Engel of Vero Beach; sister, Helen Koka of Palm Coast, Fl; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
