Alta Winnifred Graves, 104, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Ms. Graves was born September 7, 1905 in Shirley, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1944 from Springfield, MA.
She worked as the secretary for the Warren Zeuch Agency for 37 years. Ms. Graves was a member of the Community Church in Vero Beach and was a past member of the Vero Beach Country Club, the Business and Professional Womens Club and the Indian River County Historical Society.
Survivors include niece Ellen Graves of West Springfield, MA, niece Constance Johnson of Brewster, MA, niece Elizabeth Sweet of Marlborough, NH, nephew Earl Graves of Danville, NH, nephew Charles Graves of Urbana, IL, niece Janice Norton of Bluffton, SC, and her longtime caregiver Janice Gay of Vero Beach.
She was predeceased by a brother Earl Adams Graves, sister Ruth Clark, brother Clyde Graves and brother Ralph Graves.
Services: Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce at a later date.
