Alvin Sides, 59, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday December 4, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Sides was born in Eclectic, Alabama, December 11, 1950. Alvin has lived in Vero Beach since 2002 coming from Naranja, FL.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a facility technician for 31 years at AT&T. . He was a member of the Vero Beach Loyal Order of Moose. He attended St Helens Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Salve Sides of Vero Beach, FL, son Michael Anthony Sides of Alabama, sister Diane, brothers Ben, Eddie, and Steve Sides of Alabama, step-sister Lynn, and step-brother Bubba, and several grandchildren
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Helens Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home from 6-8p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
