Amy Lillian Joie, 100, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Joie was born July 22, 1910 in New York City and moved to Vero Beach in 1974 from Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach and had been a seamstress in her early years. She had a talent for playing the piano by ear.
Survivors include her daughter Dotty Meiser of Vero Beach; son Clement T. Joie, Jr. of Massapequa, NY; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clement Thomas Joie, Sr..
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Her life celebration service will take place at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 30, 2010 with Pastor Andrew C. Jack Diehl of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
