Andrew R. Widholm, Sr. of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully to eternal life on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was 90.
Andy was born in Jersey City, NJ on June 7, 1932 to Simon Andrew and Pauline Widholm and was raised in Bergenfield, NJ. Andy graduated from Bergenfield High School in 1950. After serving in the United States Naval Corp from 1951 to 1954 he worked for the NY telephone Company as an Engineer. Upon retiring, Andy started his own successful wiring company called Banter Communications.

Andy was married and predeceased by his first wife of 21 years, Bernadette Widholm (nee Wynne). Together they raised their family in Norwood, NJ. Andy loved to spent time with his children and coached football and little league.

Andy married a second time to Pat Conca (nee Powers) in August of 1991. Together they settled in to the beautiful community of Grove Isle in Vero Beach. Andy was involved with all aspects of community life but was most proud of his work on "the trail". His retirement years were spent enjoying friends, playing tennis and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Andy is survived by his three children, Bernadette Kowalchuk (Douglas) of Blauvelt, NY, Terri McKeever (James) of Northvale, NJ and Andrew Widholm, Jr. (Patti) of Hillsdale, NJ and three step children Daniel Conca (Christine) of Poughkeepsie, NY, David Conca (Stephanie) of Queens, NY and Denise Conca of San Francisco. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Jessica, Christopher, Matthew, Kevin, Brian, Danielle, Austin, James and Gabriella.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Tuesday, August 23rd at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

Andy was a faith filled man and his life was a living testimony to his trust in God. HE will be deeply missed.
