Anna Virginia Colkitt, age 84 of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. She was born May 19, 1928 in Maple Shade, NJ and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1958 coming from Camden, NJ.

Anna and her husband, Albert, were the founders of Colkitt Sheet Metal and Air Condition in Vero Beach. She was a member of the Gideon's Auxillary. She was a member of the First Church of God of Vero Beach.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail Langfitt of Vero Beach and Audrey Joiner of Melbourne, FL; sons, Glen Colkitt of Atlanta, GA and Bruce Colkitt of Crownsville, MD; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her husband, Albert J. and her son, Jay Colkitt.

A private graveside service will be held at Crestlawn Cemetery.
