Annette M. Miller, 81, of Vero Beach, was one of seventeen children, born to Rachel Gerald and Fred Newton, Sr as a twin on November 22, 1936 in Vero Beach, FL. She was called home on January 25, 2018 peacefully surrounded by her family.

Annette grew up in Tifton, Georgia and later moved back to Vero Beach, FL. She had become a well-respected Head Custodian at Gifford Middle School and retired from the Indian River County School Board after many years. She also worked as a companion for many years. Annette devoted her life to her family and caring for them all.

Annette was proceeded in death by her father Fred Newton, Sr., mother Rachel Humphries; Five sisters: Jeanette Johnson (twin), Nancy Newton, Mary Daniel, Trunetta Taylor, Margaret Ogletree; Five brothers: Gerald Newton, Harold Newton, Fred Newton, Jr., Marion Newton, and Lemuel Newton and One daughter: Tracy Miller.

Annette leaves to cherish her memories Four daughters: Sandra Newton of Vero Beach, FL, Vernita Bailey of Vero Beach, FL, Deborah Williams of Port St. Lucie, FL and Barbara Miller of Dallas, TX; Three Sons: William Miller of Vero Beach, FL, Wendell Miller of Vero Beach, FL, and Gary (Debra) Miller of Dallas, TX; Five Sisters: Rossetta Humphries of Columbia, SC, Alnetta Thompkins of Detroit, MI, Rachel Jane Ferguson of Lakeland, FL, Ellen Daniel of Tifton, GA, and Brenda Brothers of Cocoa Beach, FL; One Brother: Samuel (Monica) Newton of Cocoa Beach, FL; Nineteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Three Great-Grandchildren and Four Great-Great-Grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
