Anthony J. Lombardo, 48, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away April 25, 2018, at VNA Hospice House.

He was born May 17, 1969, in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1980, coming from Hollywood, FL.

Anthony was a member of ARC of Indian River County and was a volunteer at the Indian River County Library.  He was an avid swimmer and competed in the Special Olympics.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his mother, Anna Lombardo of Vero Beach; sister, Luisa (Rich) Gale of Naples, FL, and nephew, Nicholas Gale of Naples.  He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Lombardo in 2014.

A visitation will be held 10 am-11:30 am, Friday, April 27 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Ft. Pierce.
