Anthony Raymond Matulonis, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his home. Mr. Matulonis was born December 6, 1921 in Maspeth, NY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for twenty-five years, coming from Massapequa, NY. Prior to his retirement he worked as a photographer for Life magazine for 15 years. He was a lover of nature, an avid fisherman and organic gardener. "He taught the Jolly Green Giant how to grow a garden!" Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Evelyn; daughter, Sandra; sons, Mark and Paul; sister, Helen Matulonis of Maspeth; grandchildren, Dustan, Braden, Erica, Josh and Justin.
