Arthur Ashley, 86, died in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House.
Mr. Ashley was born July 3, 1926 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. He had been a resident of Vero Beach 10 years, coming from Houston, TX. In Texas he was owner of a pool reconstruction company.
He served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his significant other, Joyce Logan; 1 daughter, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the First Church of God in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawind Funeral Home & Crematory Vero Beach, FL. Online condolences may be sent through www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
