Arthur A. Griesser, 92, passed away on October 1, 2024. Born on February 3, 1932, he lived a life dedicated to service, marked by a deep passion for gardening and an unwavering commitment to his community.

A proud veteran, Arthur served in the Korean War, demonstrating remarkable bravery and dedication. Later in life, he continued to make a difference as a Deputy Sheriff for Indian River County, as a policeman in the City of Vero Beach and an officer for Customs and Border Protection.

Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Griesser, and his cherished daughter, Nancy Ann Griesser. He is survived by his loving daughter, Phyllis Tomczyk (Larry), along with his treasured grandchildren, Cody (Brittany) and Katrina (Andrew), and his adored great-grandchildren, Henry, Walter, and Stella. He also leaves behind his dear sisters, Rose Mathes and Louise Keleher, as well as brothers Pete Griesser (JoAnn) and Bill Griesser (Ellen), along with several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

In his later years, Arthur found loving companionship with Jeanette Hilley, who brought joy and comfort to his life.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family to honor Arthur's remarkable journey and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him.
