Obit: Arthur Gilbert Stearns
Arthur Gilbert Stearns, 82, of North Hutchinson Island, Fort Pierce, FL died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL.
Mr. Stearns was born July 5, 1928 in Detroit, MI and moved to Fort Pierce 12 years ago from Novi, MI.
He had been a Tool Engineer for General Motors prior to his retirement and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years Haroldene Rose Hoffman Stearns of North Hutchinson, FL; daughter Deborah Campbell of Hohenwald, TN; son Kyle Stearns of Livonia, MI; daughter Patrice Reppenhagen of Canton, MI; daughter Claudia Partee of Hohenwald, TN; son Kevin Stearns of Union, KY; son Kurt Stearns of Columbia, TN; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will take place 10 AM, Monday, January 24, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach with Dr. Charles Lever officiating.
