Arthur Ernest Strieter, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Strieter was born July 6, 1918 in Chicago, IL and moved to Vero Beach two years ago from Benton Harbor, MI.
Prior to his retirement he had worked for Whirpool and Skidmore Pump as an Efficiency Expert.. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, MI and the Southwestern Michigan Gem and Mineral Society.
Survivors include his daughters Sue Ellen Strieter Hunter of Alachua, FL and Gale Strieter Sellers of Melbourne Beach, FL; and sister Dorothy Waldmann.
He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Lydia Martin Strieter and a daughter Julie Lynne Strieter.
Services: At the request of the family there will be no services locally.
