Arzie "Deanie" Dean Taylor, 98, formally of Sebastian, Florida, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her home in Ft. Pierce, FL.
She was born September 27, 1915 in Gilbert Hollow, SC and had been a long time resident of Sebastian, FL.
Deanie was one of the founding members of Sebastian United Methodist Church, over 80 years ago. She was known for her dedication to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Betty A Walther and Joel D. Taylor, Sr.; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Joel D. Taylor, Sr.
A memorial service will be held 10 am, Monday, January 27, 2014 at Sebastian United Methodist Church with Pastor William M. Finnin, Jr. officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Sebastian Cemetery at a later time.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation c/o Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 or to Sebastian United Methodist Church, 1029 Main Street, Sebastian, FL 32958.
