Bambang Bam Koestoyo, 55, of Vero Beach, FL died |Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Koestoyo was born January 4, 1953 in Brebes, Indonesia and moved to Vero Beach in 1988 from Hawaii.
He was a member of the Immanuel Church in Vero Beach, the founder of the Treasure Coast Wine Coalition and a member of the Indonesian-American Society. He began his career as the maitre d of the Holland American Cruise Line and Hawaiian American Cruise Line. He later served as the Wine Sommelier and Maitre d at the Johns Island Club, the Village Store Manager in Windsor, guest service manager at the Disney Vero Beach Resort and most recently had worked at Mangrove Matties in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years Robin Michael Koestoyo of Vero Beach; daughters Sydney Koestoyo of Vero Beach and Danielle Koestoyo of Melbourne; seven brothers and sisters in Indonesia and two grandchildren Krista and Catherine Edge of Melbourne.
Mr. Koestoyo was predeceased by his parents Ramalan and Sudardiojanto Koestoyo.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 3 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Johns Island Golf Club with Pastor Roger Ball officiating. A High Tea will follow.
