Barbara Lillian Charland, 70, of Vero Beach died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center.
Ms. Charland was born May 29, 1942 in Sturbridge, MA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1992, coming from West Brookfield, MA.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Saint Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her mother Lucy Brunell of Charlton, MA; three daughters Lisa A. Barnum and husband David M. Barnum of Vero Beach, FL, Darleen F. McKinstry of Richmond, NH, Debra J. Morin and fianc Christopher Cammarota of Sebastian, FL; son Glenn R. Charland of Las Vegas, NV; sister Susan Brunell and husband Steven Grenier of Woodstock, CT; granddaughter Rebecca H. Barnum of Vero Beach, FL; great-grandson Landon J. Barnum of Vero Beach, FL; niece Sarah Sansom and son, Alex Sansom and many beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond G. Racicot; daughter Hope M. Charland; grandson Joshua D. Barnum; father Romeo Beaudry; step-father Romeo Brunell; brothers Edward Brunell, Roland Beaudry and Joseph Beaudry; niece Megan Kleczka.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, Vero Beach, FL.
