Barbara J. Smith, 72 of Vero Beach, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center.
Born in Far Rockaway, NY, she attended Sharon Williams Business School in Miami and worked as a Legal Secretary in Miami for 10 years. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1992 coming from Miami, Fl.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald H. Smith; stepdaughters, Ronda Mingus and Lori Mercer, both of Murphy, NC; 4 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
