Barbara Buckner Peck, 84, of Vero Beach, FL went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2018.  She was born in Anderson, SC on April 24, 1933 to the late Henry Otis and Docia Buckner. On July 4, 1956, Barbara married the late Peter Eric Peck and in 1963 they moved to Vero Beach.

Barbara was very active in the Theatre Guild, working in the box office and   serving as a previous president and board member.  She was a two-time recipient of the Theatre Guild's Jacobus-Seibert-Hazen Award for Outstanding Service. She was a member and Epsilon Master of the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority and in 1983, she was named Woman of the Year XI Alpha Eta.  She was also a member of the Florida Aero Club, and was proud of her southern Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her sons, Eric (Tammy) Peck of Adairsville, GA and Brian Peck of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Lauren Peck of Adairsville and Justin Watt of Akron, OH; brother, H.O. "Butch" Buckner of Anderson, SC and sister, Evelyn Bland of Aiken, SC.  Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Peter on June 1, 2017.

A visitation will be held 5-7pm, Thursday, January 18 ^th at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, January 19 ^th in the funeral home chapel.
