Obit: Barbara Jean Ruggiero

Barbara J. Ruggiero, 84, of Vero Beach, FL., passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at The Arbors at the Lakes at Pointe West in Vero Beach, FL.

Mrs. Ruggiero was born November 3, 1927 in New York, NY and moved to Vero Beach 7 years ago, coming from Astoria, NY.

She was a homemaker and attended St. John of the Cross. She also attended the dances at the Senior Center in Vero Beach.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years Patrick Ruggiero of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Barbara (John) Lobmeyer of Vero Beach, FL; son Patrick (Julie) Ruggiero of Cincinnati,OH; sister Jocelyn Cafone of Vero Beach, FL and three grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6-8 pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. A burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
