Barbara Elaine Sprado, 78, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on August 4, 2013 at VNA Hospice House.

She was born in Yonkers, New York on March 8, 1935, and moved from Putnam Valley, NY, 20 years ago, to live in Vero Beach. Barbara worked as an administrative assistant to the Vice President at Purdue Fredrick Company for 10 years, and then she was a part time real estate broker. She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, doting Nana and a cherished friend. She loved to cook, listen to music, entertain and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Karl, of 48 years; daughter, Bonnie Quinn of Coventry, CT; son, Jimmy Corrado of Valley Cottage, NY and her grandchildren, Karl and Caley Quinn.

A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at First Church of God, Vero Beach, FL.
