Barbara Ann Vacanti's Obituary
Barbara Ann Vacanti, 72, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach after a brief illness.
Mrs. Vacanti was born April 24, 1937, in Chattanooga, TN and moved to Vero Beach 10 years ago from Pompano Beach, FL.
Prior to her illness she had worked at Hale Groves for 4 years.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Broad Based Investment Club in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Anthony Vacanti of Vero Beach, son Michael Vacanti of Williamsville, NY, daughters Diane Parks of Boca Raton, FL and Cheryl Scott of Oak Park, CA, brother Harley Chuck Harcrow of Jacksonville, FL, sister Linda Buczek of Chattanooga, TN and six grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her son John Vacanti.
Services: A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 12, 2009 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
