Barry Lee Strickland, 56, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
Mr. Strickland was born November 15, 1953 in Miami, FL and moved to Vero Beach 5 years ago from North Carolina.
He was a sorter and mail carrier for the post office prior to becoming disabled. Mr Strickland was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents Donald Clyde Strickland of North Carolina and Betty Jean Strickland of Vero Beach, and brothers Gene Strickland of North Carolina, Jim Strickland of North Carolina and Roy Strickland of Vero Beach.
He was predeceased by his twin brother Gary Sutherland two months ago.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach with Pastor Derrick West officiating.
