Beatrice Wood Witherspoon, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Witherspoon was born September 3, 1919 in Lunenburg County, VA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1953, coming from Richmond, VA.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for various citrus packaging companies.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #10210.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Baker (Bruce) of Vero Beach, Sandra Skeen of Tampa and Diane Rankin of Richmond, VA; sons, Robert Hart of Richmond, VA, James Hart of Fort Pierce and Stephen Hart of Palm Bay; sister, Lucille Jansch of Chester, VA and Marion Bowles of Charlotte, NC; step-sons, Eddie Witherspoon and Tommy Witherspoon; step-daughters, Gladys Bledsoe, Pat Carthon and Marie Tucker; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ed Witherspoon.

Services: There will be no services held.
