BenEtta Jean Rich died on July 15, 2020 at the age of 93 at Port St. Lucie Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

She was born on March 1, 1927 in Union City, Pennsylvania to parents Ben Drake and Mildred Morgan Drake, and sister Juanita Shunk.

BenEtta is survived by her five children – Lenita Woodrow, Ben Taylor, Deb (Gary) Handy, RisAnn Taylor, Susan (Al) Sorensen; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

BenEtta lived a full, colorful, happy life.  She married Leonard Taylor in December 1946, and later in life was married to Arthur Rich in January 1967.  She lived in Union City, PA, Syracuse, NY, Fort Worth, TX, Schaumburg, IL, and Hutchinson Island, FL.

She worked in Schaumburg, IL for 20 years as an administrative assistant.  After retiring and moving to Florida she was an election judge, volunteer at Sunrise Theater, and involved in many community activities at the condominium where she lived.

BenEtta's greatest love was that for her family and spending time with them.  They will greatly miss her, their beloved matriarch.  She also enjoyed reading, music, dancing, walking the beach, and socializing with her many friends.  All those who were lucky to know her would say she was loving, caring, devoted, and generous; making her a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
