Bennett "Ben" Carter age 57 of Vero Beach passed away on February 10, 2013 unexpectedly at Indian River Medical Center. Ben was born in Melbourne, FL to Ray and Hazel Webb on December 31, 1955. Ben was a member of Amateur Radio Club of Vero Beach known to many as" KD4VAA". He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Vero Beach, FL. Ben worked for many years as a Cable Installer for Florida Cable Vision, United Artist, who then became known as Comcast. He also worked as a Projectionist at the Vero Drive In and the Florida Theatre. Ben will be most remembered for his passion of computers and techinogly. He had to be the first one with the new gadget. Ben leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 38 years Jamie Carter of Vero Beach, FL. 2 sons Timothy (Tracy) Carter of Inverness, FL and Brandon (Rebecca) Carter of Vero Beach, FL, and daughter Stephanie Carter of Vero Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren Stevi Randall, Hazel Randall, Justin Harold, Finnigan Carter, and Aaron Carter; Sister Debra Rice of South Carolina. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene 1280 27th Avenue Vero Beach, FL.
