Bernice Mary Denault, 82, of Vero Beach, FL., died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. She was born September 7, 1928 in Reddick, IL., She has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL., for 25 years coming from Kankakee, IL. and Key Largo., FL.
Mrs. Denault was a graduate of St. Patricks High School, Kankakee, IL., a member of St. Helen Catholic Church of Vero Beach, FL. She worked as a telephone operator at Illinois Bell Telephone Company for twenty-five years and also worked for Publix Supermarkets in Vero Beach for over twenty years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Mr. Reynold F. Denault.
Her survivors include her sons, Michael Denault of Key Largo, FL., and Steven Denault of Libertyville, IL.; daughter, Kathleen Denault Prouty of Vero Beach, FL.; sisters, Victoria Sowards of Dallas, TX., Delores Traynor of Vero Beach, FL., Doreen Lothamer of Columbus, OH.; brothers, Donald Beland of Ely, MN., Gerald Beland of Peoria, AZ., Roger Beland of Bourbonnais, IL., and Ronald Beland of Titusville, FL.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Sunday, June 5, 2011 with a prayer service at 7:00pm at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, FL. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
