Beryl Jean Nichols, 88, of Barefoot Bay, passed away on September 25, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center. Beryl was born January 8, 1922 in Yakima, WA. She moved to Barefoot Bay 23 years ago coming from Buffalo, N.Y.
Beryl was a member of Barefoot Bay Baptist Church, the Barefoot Bay Artists Guild, and the American Legion Auxilliary. She had worked for Bell Aircraft in Buffalo, NY, and retired from AAA Automobile Association in Buffalo.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl D. Nichols of Melbourne, FL and Rene K. Parker of Maplewood, MO, son Keith D. Nichols of Torrance, CA, brothers Melvin G. Tromanhauser of Orlando, FL and Jesse J. Tromanhauser of Grand Island, NY, and a sister Nellie R. Cichon of Forestville, CA, 6 nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Guy B. Nichols.
A memorial service planned for December will be announced at a later date.
