Betty Jean Pilyih's Obituary
Betty Jean Pilyih, 91, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Pilyih was born November 25, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1985, coming from Pittsburgh.
She was a member of Saint Helen Catholic Church.
She was a former member of the Pittsburgh Club.
Survivors include her daughters Kathleen Monjar and Audrey (John) Lanier both of Vero Beach; sister Kathleen White of Petersburg, VA; grandson John W. Lanier Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joseph Pilyih; grandson Joseph Lanier and several brothers and sisters.
No services are planned at this time.
