Betty Jean Rankins Itak's Obituary
Betty Jean Rankins Itak, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born July 6, 1934 in Petersville, KY and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Ohio.
Ms. Itak was a member of New Hope Ministries, Vero Beach.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Graley of Melbourne, FL and Gloria McKee of West Palm Beach, FL; son, Malcolm J. McKee of North Waterford, ME; sisters, Dolores Land of Ohio and Wanda Rigdon of Kentucky; brothers, Jackie Rankins of Kentucky and Michael Rankins of Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Hubert, Robert and Ed Rankins and sisters, Alma Griffit and Gladys Marie Poole.
A viewing will be held 12-1 pm, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at New Hope Ministries with a funeral service to start at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Winter Beach Cemetery.
Donations may be made to New Hope Ministries, 4425 71st Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32967.
