Blanche Cecile Oeffner, 87, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Oeffner was born August 27, 1920 in Georgiaville, RI and moved to Vero Beach in 1982 from Willimantic, CT.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, the Red Hatters, Ladies of the Elks and the Eagles in Vero Beach. Mrs. Oeffner had been an Insurance Underwriter for Mustard Insurance Agency in Willmantic, CT prior to her retirement.
Survivors include his daughter Patricia Sand of Eagle River, WI; son Thomas Oeffner of Moore Haven, FL and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oeffner was predeceased by her husband Francis A. Oeffner and a grandson Christopher Gorski.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Thursday, July 31, 2008, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mrs. Oeffner will be transferred to the Bacon Funeral home in Willimantic. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Willimantic.
