Borghild Betty M. Jacobsen, 93, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, July 24, 2009 at The Place At Vero Beach.
Mrs. Jacobsen was born March 21, 1916 in Flekkefjord, Norway and moved to Vero Beach in 2007 from Carmel, NY.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include her daughters Arlene Stoffel of North Hutchinson Island, FL and Sandra Springer of Seaton, IL; son Kenneth Jacobsen of Northville, MI; brothers Steinar Nelson of Brick, NJ and Odd Nelson of Murrells Inlet, SC; sister Gunvor Sorensen of Valley Stream, NY; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services: Memorial services will take place in New York and Illinois at a later date.
