Brian Cousens, 59, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House.

He was born August 28, 1952 in Rockland, Maine to Kenneth and Ethel Cousens. He has been a resident of Vero Beach for over 15 years, coming from Lakeland.

He served in the United States Navy on the USS Sumter.

He worked as a medical supply specialist for Perkins Medical Supply and Osceola Home Health Care for many years.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Chapman; son, Jason Cousens both of Florida; numerous siblings; and three grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
