Bruce A. Jenkins, 59 of Barefoot Bay, FL died August 1, 2009 at his residence.
He was born January 6, 1950 in Vancouver, WA and was a resident of Barefoot Bay for 25 years, coming from Leesburg, GA.
Mr. Jenkins was a paramedic for Dougherty County, GA and was a member of the NRA; the Sebastian Moose Lodge. He served in the US Air Force during Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughter Jenifer Hope of San Francisco, CA; son Scott Jenkins of Cordele, GA; mother Mary E. Sutton of Barefoot Bay, FL; sisters Linda McMurrya of Augusta, GA, Cathy Smith of Tallahassee, FL and two grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Lukes Catholic Church, 5055 Micco Rd., Micco, FL 32976 or the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
