Bruce I. May, 76 of Sebastian passed away Monday, July 19th at Sebastian River Medical Center after a long illness. The son of Phyllis (Helbig) Dickson and Irving F. May, he came to Sebastian from Portland, CT in 1996.
He served our country in the Navy, and was employed by Sears for 42 years. A wonderful, loving husband and father, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Winifred of 52 years, daughter Linda (Keith) DeLisle of Sebastian; son B. Douglas (Dawn) May of Portland, CT; grandson Kevin (Alexa) DeLisle of Palm Bay; granddaughters Nicolle DeLisle of Sebastian; Avery May of Portland, CT; a sister Lois Anderson of Portland, CT; step-sister Jayne (Wilton) Phillips of Baton Rouge, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 23, 2010 at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Sebastian.
A memorial service will be at a future date for friends and family in CT.
