Burton C. Hillocks' Obituary
Burton C. Hillocks, 91, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Hillocks was born April 21, 1921 in Dundee, Scotland. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1980 coming from Hamden, CT.
He served in the United States Army Air Corp. during WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post in Vero Beach.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as Captain of the Hamden, CT Fire Department where he worked as a fire fighter for 30 years.
Survivors include his son Bruce Hillocks of Meriden, CT; grandchildren Melissa Wetmore of Sebastian, FL and Franklin Wetmore of Vero Beach, FL.
No services are planned at this time.
